I want Murderers & Sex Offenders Executed & tougher sentences for lesser crime?

Sick of hearing about the problem of what to do about overcrowding in prisons besides building more, & for this reason offenders that would have otherwise been jailed are being let off or handed out short sentence for crimes like burglary which is a very serious offence.

The current system offers no deterrent against committing crime.
Prisoners are given a better life than an innocent homeless man on the streets. They're housed, fed, kept nice & warm at tax payer expense. Given routine & allowed exercise & games, not to mention privileges. A well seasoned criminal must view it like a strict but cushy hotel.

Considering once upon a time we'd have hung drawn & quartered murderers & sex offenders & cut the fingers off thieves...

Now why should one who takes a life even retain the right to their own?
 
because we think were moving forward by giving more rights but really were moving backwards. and people like the first person who answered belive that sex offenders and murderers should be given the best comforts at our expence.
 
I agree with the first answer, some people are wrongly imprisoned.

And i'm sick of people like you saying things like this, I'd rather let the guilty people like this live in a cell for the rest of there life, rather than give them the mercy of death anyway, and if you do this, more evidence can be gathered if they are innocent and then they can be released, compensated, and publicly apologised too.

The only thing I agree with is, prisons are to luxurious today, we need to make them like 15th century dungeons (without the torture)
 
Have you ever thought of people that are innocent but found guilty? No? or do you not care?
You should really try and drag yourself into the 21st century.
