I can get the iPhone in June for the $199 price with a new 2 year agreement. My dad and I are trying to find a way around waiting til June so this is what we thought of... tell me if this is possible at all.
We were thinking about adding another line to our family plan to get the iPhone for $199 but I want to use the iPhone with my sim card and my phone number. I have a BlackBerry now so I would have to switch the data plan on my phone number to the iPhone data plan but we don't want to pay the data plan for the new line, too. If we do this I can get the phone tomorrow and have it until May 22nd then we can cancel the new line and return the iPhone and wait a week then use my 2 year upgrade for my own number. Ultimately, I want to get the phone tomorrow or Saturday and NOT have to pay the $30 data plan on two lines. Please tell me if this makes any sense or if it is possible!
