I want a new cellphone but my mom doesn't want me to get another one?

I have this phone i really really want.
and the phone i have now it a piece of crap and i dont want it anymore
i have a job
and i make enough money
and i wanna get this phone
my mom says shes not buyin me a new phone
but i told her i would pay her so she can pay for it.
cuz they dont take debit
she keeps saying no
today me and my older brother
are going to the mall and im getting it
do you think im making a mistake ?
Like i said ... i could pay her for it.
