I want a higher capacity fuel tank on my 2003 Honda VLX Deluxe?

I was just given (FREE - Woohoo!!) a 2003 Honda Shadow VLX Deluxe. I have not a single complaint about receiving such a gift horse, although I would love for it to have just a little more range. Anyone have any suggestions for a bolt on tank with more capacity than the standard 2.9 gallons? Are tanks compatible from one shadow model to another?
