I would just write a lot of poems.
poems of your feeling, nature, and what interests you...
you can also read other poems for ideas on one your writing and maybe once you write a poem get others to read it and ask them if they have a way to improve it...

Poets write poems. Just write. Even when you don't want to write force yourself to do so. Use only metaphors in your poems. Don't say anything abstract. Everything you say in your poetry should be concrete or it's not worth saying. Poetry is about taking an abstract idea and turning it into something you can pick up and throw across the room. And please don't let it rhyme. Rhymes are chains that imprison your words and keep them from flowing freely.
