I wanna know if DOGs have spirits and why do I feel that my dog is still...

...around after she died? My 3 year old dog died and I was like a mother to her, somehow I feel that she is just around and still kissing me and trying to comfort me, I must admite I am hurting real bad. is it my cooping process or is it true that they do have spirits and they are just with us? some one please answer me.
