This is a little peace of what i've written in my new story
Read it and tell me if i'm good at writing...
Some days later, a girl was waiting for darkness. Perched on a rooftop, not far from her shack, she watched the setting sun. She was content. It was a rare feeling for her, one she only got whenever she watched the sunset, or when her loved ones gave her one of their genuine smiles. It made her feel warm inside, even in the bitter cold.
Eventually, the beautiful array of warm colors dissolved into nothingness. The sky darkened and she began to move. Dropping down from the roof, she strolled through the backstreets, looking for something to do. There wasn’t much she could do during the night, working was out of the question, and there weren’t many crowds around at this time. She could go begging, like many of the other street-children did, but she had more dignity than that. She preferred to earn the money by turning over a good job, rather than having it given to her. It was the satisfaction of a job well done that made her work bearable.
