I used to see the image of a man in my home. Now I just see a green light /

mist. What is going on? The green light/ mist is always near a wall and usually covers about half of it. I have never sensed danger or anything but it has made me curious as to what it is.
 
It is likely that you need to clean the lens or filter.

Or perhaps your camera has developed a light leak.
Camera light leaks tend to cause red and/or green areas in images.
 
This question is listed under photography, so do you only see this "mist" when you look through the lens of your camera? or take a picture? or do you see it with the naked eye?
It could be a ghost. They can appear in just about any form.
 
It could be a spirit and spirits can form in many different ways from shadows, mists, orbs, full body apparitions, even to the point where they actually look like a real person.
