I'm not sure what "Mysterious Universe" is, but based on the detials of your question, I think I have a rough idea.
Coast to Coast AM often covers a lot of "paranormal" type topics. I'm not sure if it is what you are looking for though. Very often the guests are just trying to plug their books, or are fiction writers using "pseudo-science" to make a very entertining program. I know Phil Plait has been on a few times, and he is very scientific about the reality of the universe. Some of the regular guests, however, don't have the science to back up their claims. But if it is paranormal you are looking for, I think that's probably the most well-known radio program out there.
I think you have to pay to receive podcasts, but I'm not sure. When I used to listen to it, I just did so on the AM band on my radio.
Probably not the answer you were looking for, but it was all I could think of.
