I Used The E90!!!

So I was at the Nokia Flagship store in NYC today and I saw one of the guys behind the desk holding an E90!! I asked him to see it and he was nice enough to show it to me and wait till I used it for about 5 mins. I also got in a couple of pictures which I'll post soon.

I'm a big communicator fan and this phone was just amazing. The keys on the outside and the inside are very soft. I tried to type really fast and was able to do so with perfect accuracy. I think first-time communicator users will get used to this keyboard VERY fast.

The internal screen was HUGE! H-U-G-E!

If you guys have questions I'll try my best to answer them but I'll be able to say only so much since I used it for 5 mins MAX.

I wish Nokia would gave better launch dates other then Q1/2/3/4. I am so torn about buying the N95 or waiting for the E90. The E65 would definitely satisfy me until the E90 is released, but my wife keeps harassing me to give her the phone since it's so "cute". Women.........*sigh*

I did notice the transition between the two screens. If you're using the external screen and then you open it up, it takes about 2-3 seconds for the backlight to turn on and thats it. There was no loading up lag when you pressed any buttons.

The pictures are over here:

E90 External

E90 Internal

Sorry the second picture is quite blurry but it's all I could manage because the guy at the store was getting a bit impatient

how did it feel in your hand? can you compare it to any of the other N series phones or perhaps other communicators you've handled in the past?

Size wise I think it's comparable to the 9300.

However, I like the feel of the 9300 more because it has more of a metallic finish whereas the E90 has more of a plasticky feeling. I'm not saying that it feels flimsy though. It is a VERY solid phone.

Also, the 9300 is curvier so that makes it seem smaller.

Very strong hinge. Seemed very sturdy.

It's very nice how it snaps into place once you open it up all the way.
I guess that particular feature will make sure the hinge doesnt open up like it did in the 9500
