I have naturally black hair. I go to the salon for highlights.. it been my third time putting in highlights. I havent touched my hair in almost 1 1/2 months, and now want to dye it red all over. Some what of a bright, intense red. I did a strand test buy cutting a strand of my hair from the root and I used bleach to bleach the strand first. Then I washed it out and used red hair dye on it. It looks red when its wet but when i straigtened the strand of hair its more of a light brownish, goldish, burgundy. How come the red isnt sticking?
