alarm, and now the car wont start.? We even tried resetting the theft system according to the toyota dealership's instructions.
 
If the engine cranks over ok, but won't start, does your owner's manual confirm that you have an anti-theft alert indication on your dash panel? Try resetting the fuel pump cutoff switch as well. Disconnecting the negative battery cable again and reconnect after 1 minute. Try turning the key to on and leaving it there for 10 minutes before you start the car. Try reading out the computer error codes (see link below). Make sure your battery is good. If it's over 4 years old, buy a new one.
