I took a pregnancy test and one line in dark and the other is light am I pregnant?

I am concerned. I think I need to take another test but every test I have ever taken has always been just one line on the right side, which is negative.

some advice: dark line is the one on the left, correct? the line on the right is just to tell you the test is complete and working, however light or dark that one is won't make any difference.

in the end 2 lines is 2 lines means pregnancy
 
what kind of pregnancy test is it?? If you know then you can go to the company's web site and get the instructions which should tell you how to read it. Also if you still have the box the instructions should be printed on the side

If you want to be sure before you go to the doctors, take another test.

If it shows up like that again, time to go to the doctors to make 100% sure.
 
Yes, most likely you are. If there is a second line, no matter how much lighter, it's a positive result. False positives are very rare as well.

It's time to discuss it with someone and see a doctor for confirmation, good luck.
