I thought a launch date was suppose to be 1 day

first off, i was in line and purchased a wii on nov 19th, but this shit is crazy, all retail stores are holding wiis for the 17th and walmart held theirs last dec 6th for their sales add.. when did a launch date turn into 3 launchs..

i thought when a launch is over, when stores recieve systems, they go right to the floor, not to the stockroom to be held for a week or more, then more lines form for multiple launch dates... this is fucking wack... i seriously feel bad for people that do not have one yet...
 
I really don't see what's wrong with it. This way at least people will know for sure when and where there will be Wii's. It's up to them if they want to brave the conditions to wait for them.
 
its fucking bullshit..

more people trying to scalp the wii on ebay.. and less people that actually want one for retail price get fucked.
 
i had lost hope of getting one and when I saw a whole rack full of nunchucks/remotes at target I said "fuck it" and left em behind. Now that I have one I can't find a nunchuck or wiimote anywhere
 
It's really amazing. I cannot remember a time where people would still camp out for the 3rd or 4th shipment of a system. At least right now, Nintendo is really owning the market (and I hope it continues).
 
when i was waiting in line last sunday, these guys came up in line and the first thing they said is they were getting them to sell on ebay. I don't have a problem with that, but they were just overall annoying arrogant fags. One guy said he didnt have a job and he's sold 9 of them already.
 
We had some faggots like that when we were waiting in line. They even had 2 of their buddies leave at midnight, go home and sleep (although they claimed they were taking care of their sick mother---who we later overheard was actually at Toys R Us waiting), and then come back at 7 that morning. The people behind us were wanting blood for that bullshit.
