I dont mean to attack but I just feel that is true and wonder if there are other people who feel the same.
Ive never encountered racism in Britain and I find that most British people are like one of the most polite and civilized countries Ive been...but I think is really hard to befriend them...and if ure not European they are less likely to make conversation with you. They don't wanna know you.
I am in a short spring course in EUrope rite now and this English guy keeps saying things like..ow i think people love the English and the Americans whenever we travel..everyone seems to love us and stuff...and then keeps saying how European our "group"are knowing that I am the only half Asian. I am half European but my Asia traits are quite obvious and it seems to me that altho we are studying in the same city he doesnt really want to talk to me even tho i try talking to me.
The first day he even shaked hands with all a part from me!
English people are so polite that they don't make it seem racism but I think that deep down they are discriminating...not sure i can explain this well...
I have a few wonderful English friends but they are usually those who have been to Asia , travlled much and do know quite a lot about other cultures.
i don't deslike the English people I just feel they are racist in their own way...anyone who understands where Im coming from?
Other Europeans I've met have all been really friendly..and I grew up in Europe where I have been really welcomed.
