I think I'm skippping the N95......

That was hofo in it's infancy. Wasnt much to talk about as far as cell phones were concerned. What were people going to discuss....hey look...I changed the faceplate on my 8290 and got rid of the operator logo! Frogs!

I would think there are two functions here. One is the GPS chip itself. No airtime/data charges here, just like my Nokia LD-1W bluetooth GPS Receiver. However, if you use the supplied navigation system/maps they must be downloaded thereby requiring a data connection. Consider that your current version of TomTom (an an updated version) should be able to use the built-in GPS receiver in the N95 and you're good to go. Does this make sense?

actually i just have nothing better to do..LOL!! just give me a n95 in a n93 form factor with 1/2" smaller body and im all good oh a VGA screen would be nice too...

i thought you could download the maps from your computer and load them up to the memory card and use them that way...can you still do that?

All you people who say you're gonna skip N95 are gonna be very tempted to buy it once it comes out, and a lot of you will. It's easy not to want it when it's not available. I'm thinking of skipping it too. I want something with higher resolution but I can't say for sure that I won't get it.

@Loriolus
I can assure you i won't be tempted away from my N93 in fact even if i was given one for free i would just sell it. Why because i prefer the form factor of the N93 and don't like slider phones, i already have TT6 and a Holox GPS, and since getting V20. it's just so fast it's going to take something really special for me to change. But of course this is just what's good for me and my preferences currently i am more than satisfied/happy in fact I'm in smart phone heaven.

See, all unclear. If this thing needs a data connection to work it's USELESS. Might as well get TomTOM, data is not needed. If this all turns true my first comment about the n95 is true: glorified google maps.

bullshyt dogmann! u will buy it trust me, maybe not right away but you will buy it i can guarantee that, you saying ur gonna skip it is like saying i will never have sex or masturbate anymore, that's how sure i am u will buy it

I didn't think Nokia would be involved with T-Mobile at all until I found this article. I'd like to think this means more handsets for T-Mobile, but we'll see.

As for the topic, there's no way I'm going to skip the N95. I miss wifi too much and watch too many movies on my phone now that I just can't.
