Hi all. I'm new here.. and I want to ask you all..
If I'm right , I have vein disorder on my knee...
It start from playing basketball, and I'm getting pretty bad injured at my knee..

I go to the called "sinsei" ( using chinese traditional treatment ) , he said that I have wound at my knee pad and he give me like herbal drugs or something like that , it healed me in 1 month and he said that I can play basketball... but I'm still feeling not right because I can't even squat with 1 leg ( my injured leg ) , and I try to play basketball again..
and if you all know about basketball fake, I'm just using pump shot fake, and then run , my leg injured againn!!! just for running!! not even fast run, just like jogging . OMG I really pissed off..

Then I rest about 2 months to heal my leg, and I go to the different "sinsei" because I'm feeling the same thing after my leg healed.. He said that it's just about vein and my muscle.. Hi massage my leg ( it's pretty hurt ), and after 3 days.. I'm feeling much better, and now I can play basketball.. But it still hurt inside my knee!!! I still can't layup , can't jump using 1 leg ( my injured leg ).. I think this is about vein disorder, because it feels weird and tickle me a bit ( and make me scared of course )..

Any solution guys? how to fix disorder vein? I'm a little depressed on this..
Sorry if my english not good. thanks.... Waiting for your response :D

You may have pulled or strained a muscle. That will not heal without plenty of rest after being diagnosed properly. My suggestion would be to see a doctor, not your sensei, and get a definitive diagnosis as to what is wrong. You probably need an x-ray which your sesei just can't do. I have the utmost respect for your sensei, but he can't see inside of your knee and what is wrong.

I don't know if it is a vein disorder, but I would think that it may be muscular first. Good luck!

Hello. I'd say if it is inside or around the knee, it's probably not muscular. I'd say it's either a ligament or a tendon, which heal very slowly because there is little blood flow to each. Also, and what I would be most concerned with, is the fact that it could be nerve damage or a stress fracture.

Please do as the above poster said. Go to your doctor and have it looked at, x-rayed, whatever. You need a good medical diagnosis on this one, especially since it won't go away.

Thanks for your reply guys... If you said that I must go to the doctor and do X-Ray.. I have done it , and it shows nothing in X-Ray..
If it's really heal slowly, how much time I must rest? 1 month? 2 month? Just some information, after my leg get better ( after treatment time is done ), I didn't use my leg for any heavy work for 1 - 2 month, and I didn't feel any development on my knee..

Because my english is bad, I feel really hard to tell you what exactly where I feel the pain. I hope you understand, it feels pain inside knee , under my thigh and calf..

more info, I don't know why after I play basketball , my leg feels perfectly fine.. ( AFTER PLAY )... But 2 days after that, the pain back again . >

i would have to agree with the others here in not only seeing a doc, but getting a good MRI just done ON that knee just to see whther or not the HUGE amount of B ball you have been playing may not have actually torn some very very crucial ligaments and tendons that are really what keep the knees structually sound and working properly? an x ray will ONLY show boney structures but NOT all of those critical innser softer tissue structures like the ones i just mentioned? an MRI would simply let you know for CERTAIN if you may have torn something in there that IS a needed structure. believe me, you can suffer some pretty severe actual real damage to ligamants and tendon/muslce and still be able to walk and 'do" even spots like B ball, but at some point AFTER it,you WILL feel it in at least some way shape or form.

i have had to undergo two seperate knee surgeries from just ligament and tendon damage done. most surgeries really are pretty non invasive these days with all of the arthoscopic types of "tools' that allow any ortho surgeon to only have to make tiny little cuts into or around the knee area and then use very small microscopic tools with a tiny camera that is what sees inside of it. but i DO feel at this point anyways that you really have explored all other options here and simply NEED that expertise of referral to a good orthosurgeon just for an initial eval and consult and of course finally getting that good 'look' inside your knee with that MRI being done on it. this really IS about the only true way to really 'see' into any given body area at all the inner structures vs what is only 'seeable" with other types of scans or testing. an MRI is what actually showed ALL of my damages, both times. you just simply DO need to know what shape your knee truely is in before you continue to play any sport that is as hard on the knees with sudden stops and starts like B ball just is.

i do wish you luck with this, but DO really try and get that one MRI done that WILL finally show just what IS really going on in your knee right now. please DO keep us up to date on what you finally find out. FB
