I think I have flashed my BB 8330 phone correctly but I have 1 nagging question

I think I have flashed my BB 8330 phone correctly but I have 1 nagging question before I have Cricket activate the phone.

When I dial 611 I get Cricket. I have even spoken to Cricket support on the flashed phone.

When I dial *228 I get Cricket although the phone doesnt do over the air programing update yet.

I have the Cricket browser icon and service books installed thanks to Insanecain's great thread.

My one question is why does it still show Verizon Network under mobile network when I click manage connections. Should it show Cricket network even before I activate the phone with Cricket? Thanks in advance for any help. :)
 
I just realized I may have posted this in the wrong section. If that is the case I apologize. MoRAB please feel free to move this thread to the PDA section if I posted it in the wrong section. :)
 
i have 2 and one had cricket and the other still shows verizon, same person flashed them, so who knows, it works thats all that matters
