i switched price tag on a bicycle and now i feel horrible i dont know what to do i wanna take it back but i know it wont be smart of me and i know it wasnt smart of me to do this whole thing anyway ,i walked out of the store fine but now im so scared they will track me down , i feel so bad i dont know what to do ?????

i would honestly take it back, and say hey this is what i did, i messed up once and i dont want to do it again so i am going to return it.

or, i would give it to a kid that needs a bike, someone who cant afford it and give it to them for free, you did one bad thing and made up for it.

What was the original price of the bike and what was the switched price?

just calm down it's honestly not that big of a deal. if the cashier didn't notice then they probably never will. but if they did then if you paid in cash there's nothing they can do to find you. if you paid with a card or whatever then if the store cares enough they'll call you at which point you can lie and say that's the way you found the price and offer to pay the full. and if nothing happens but you're still feeling guilty and such just give the bike away to someone who needs/wants it and you should feel better.

honestly, if you want to make it right, go back in there, and pay the differnece...Your concience will haunt you if you really feel that bad.. Do the right thing and make it right!! You will feel 100% better and I bet they wont' even question it!

just dont do it again... they wont track you down... you got away with it and now you have your conscious to deal with. if you were to go back and confess you'd prob get in trouble. now you got a good dose of guilt. that's the punishment. go enjoy your bike.

Get over it we all did something like that at one time or another some feel guilty and never do it again some love the fact they got away with it and do it again and again until they get caught. Think yourself lucky that you have a conscience. Chalk it up to experience. If you feel that badly donate the extra you saved to a homeless shelter or some charity.

if someone accidently prices a bike for $20,under the consumer rights act, they are legally required to charge you that amount.
your not stealing,your bargaining
