I still have some glue in my hair and want to get a perm in 3 hrs?

I was combing it out gently with some of that hot oil stuff and it slid right out but there still that stick oily feel of glue on my hair (meaning: theres still some in there)...its only my bang area but still.. i NEED to get this perm done tonight and would like to know whats safe... Thanks

Any ideas are welcome!
