...it legally? The company is still in business, actually it's one parent company that owns a total of 3 companies altogether. I called them ahead of time before tax season to make sure they had my correct address to mail my W-2.
Come February, still no W-2 from them. I called them, they said "yep, we mailed it to you, the best i can do is put you on a re-print list and re-send it mid February." It is now March, and I still don't have it. I called them yet AGAIN, this time it was "Oooooohhhh.... it looks like we updated your correct address in the wrong system screen."
Is there anything I can do legally? There is no reason why anyone should have to wait clear until March and STILL have no W-2!!! I can't file for my tax return all this time because of waiting on them. I am in a hardship because I've just been laid off from my job.
