I started a fire in my kitchen?

I was just boiling some water and didn't realize the spatula next to the stove. It caught on fire and saw smoke and ran to it and threw water on it. I opened all the doors and cleaned all the water underneath the stove. I'll admit I had my head up my ass. I am concerned about any related health concerns/starting another potential fire with the water I splashed on the stove. I know I should of had an extinguisher and I know i'm a dumb ass. I freaked out. I just want to be sure since I worry and I'll definitely not go anywhere next time I cook. It all happened in a matter of a couple of minutes
