I Spit On Your Grave is the next horror remake

Found this out whilst doing my film coursework, and i must say I'm rather suprised.

Last House On The Left was made in 1972

They are both brutal rape revenge films from the 70s.

The trailer for the Spit remake has been out for some time now. Looks rubbish.

Last House on the Left was remade for the second time last year, it was decent and I prefered it to Craven's remake, except for the stupid microwave scene.

It was rubbish the first time round! Very few remakes are any good why do they bother with trying to remake a crap one?

I wouldn't consider Last House on the Left to be a remake - it was definitely inspired by The Virgin Spring but the actual story was quite different.

What infamous scene?
The whole thing is infamous - there isn't just one dodgy scene.

Incredible to think that in the US ,since this came out in 1978 kiRAB of any age could go to see it as long as they were with parents.

A proposed Bluray premier and dvd re-release of the original is due later in the year in the UK.

It was advertised (and still is) as a new uncut edition but although 4 minutes of previous cuts have been waived for the new release there will still be nearly 4 minutes of cuts so a rather pointless release I think.

I half expect them to abandon the idea
