I have never seen a practicing Christian sitting back and reading The God Delusion or God - The Failed Hypothesis. Would any of those who are into God dare read these books? And if so, how long would it take you to get angry or feeling guilty and toss it aside? I once had all that fear keeping me from even daring to look, that fear drove me to close my mind to anything that threatened my beliefs. Does this keep you from reading other books that seem to suggest yours is wrong? Or, is it because someone in the church warned you that it was wrong and dangerous? Are you afraid of burning in hell, of falling away from the church? Please answer truthfully.
