The day after she drove it away, she called and said it blew a hose. My BF and I went and we fixed and paid for the hose and clamps. We sold the car "as is" and the buyer new it was a reconditioned vehicle. We did tell her it "uses oil" but it doesn't leak on the ground. She paid cash, but did not pay our asking price. She was fine with the repair and said she had a mechanic she was going to take it to. Today, 2 weeks later, she calls and says it needs new brakes and is blowing black smoke! We don't have any obligation to repair or refund any money in this case, do we?
