I only got to hold one of the two phones. The second one I didn't get to hold or even see which company made the phone. The reason for this, I didn't know the second person was carrying a phone that wasn't released as of yet. I saw this person open the phone about 4 or 5 times but couldn't make out the make of the phone. I was going to talk to her about the phone later but this person slipped away before I got a chance to ask about the phone. It was a flip phone that had the Samsung look.

But I can tell you about the one I did see. It was a Kyocera m100. It flipped open and it had a keyboard. It reminded me very much like the LG EnV from Verizon. I didn't get to play with for very long but did ask the rep about a release date and he replied, Cricket is shooting for a July release date.

i think it looks pretty hot! i would love to have another phone with a keyboard since i do alot of texting. it comes in great for my sidekick but that's not my main phone. i really like some of kyocera's other designs for their new phones too. i just might wanna get that phone.

my kyocera's have all worked just fine. i had the koi for almost a year and then got the slider remix when it came out and i didn't have a problem with either. i took super good care of them so that might have helped. i dunno. but i really like the new kyocera one and i think i'll deff be getting it when it comes out ;)

I also found my KOI to be Great quality, it lasted 2 years with alot of use. It still works fine and makes a good back up for my new 6265i.

I know that some people can flash their own phones and get ALL features working but the majority of Cricket customers do not go this route.

With this new phone being the only phone Cricket sells that will feature a full keyboard, it will most likely be popular.
