I save a Photoshop file as .pdf, but it does not save..?

When I go to File > Save As > PDF, Photoshop takes me through the saving procedure, but the file does not get saved.

I have the same type of file that saves without a problem. can somebody help me figure out what the problem is? Maybe a setting??

I am saving it to my desktop, but it does not save there or anywhere in my computer.
I do not get any errors.
 
Maybe your just not saving it in the correct place so it seems like its not saving... Make sure you know where it's saving to. That's all I can think of... unless you are getting an error, but you didnt say that.
