I sang at a concert and danced a lot, then my teacher humiliated me because of that?

I sang at a concert (well, it actually wasn't a concert, but in front of a committee). My behavior on the stage was very live. I mean - I danced and was just like I am at a party with my friends, because I was really turned by the music. Other students, that sang were very stiff. Yesterday my singing teacher told me that I overacted. I told her that this wasn't an act at all. She humiliated me because of that. I feel so badly right now. I just showed my true feelings about the music (I hate when a performer acts and doesn't behave naturally). I just was myself and now my teachers hate me for that and looked me with anger. Opinion?
