I recently purchased a painting signed "Van Gaard", what info can I get about it?

It's a painting of birds in a tree branch, lots of golden tones to it. The back has a studio tag with the number 108 on it. I was wondering if it was worth anything, even if it isn't, that's fine, I liked it for the colors which will look good in our living room. Thanks.
