...celica.200,000 plus miles.? my car runs great around town. when i go into the mountains it barely makes it up some of the steep grades.i have to down shift to 4th gear just to maintain 45 mph at times. is my car just worn out or can i change something lioke the fuel air mix because of the elavation change from florida?
 
Also when you are going up steep grades you are supposed to stay in lower gears so that you have more power. Most cars you will have to stay in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd.
