...to keep the stump functioning? Basically as I've said before, I recently had my left ring finger amputated just above the first joint in order to continue playing Aussie Rules football, as I consider myself a strong chance of making it at the top level in the next year or so. I was wondering, what are some good exercises which will enable my stump to maintain reasonable functionality once I am fully recovered from the amputation? Everything is coming along well in the two weeks since I had the finger chopped off, I just want to be able to have some use out of the remains of the digit. Any advice would be great thanks:-)
