I recently got a pair MTX terminator subs that have 400 watt RMS what kind of amp...

...should i get? i think the woofers are 200 watts each so how much RMS do i need for my amp and how many channels? will it sound ok if i just power my subs or is it better if i power my car speakers and the sub? and if it is better for me to power all the speakers, what kind of amp should i get?
Is the sound quality better when i power just the sub or is it better if i power the sub and the car speakers because i want to here the music and the base not just the base? help me choose the amp in either (better) case
 
get the mtx terminator amp i got the terminator subs and amp combo from hh gregg and they really go BOOM. as for your speakers in your car get a 4 channel amp. i would buy a kicker amp u cant go wrong because they have been in business for 25 yrs so they know what they are doin. just go to any car stereo shop close to u and let them see what kind of speakers u already have to match the amp with your speaker output
