I recently bought XBOX 360 4GB Console. i was wondering if you can mod it or not?

this is the model number RKB-00002. and i m assuming it has the latest configuration. i heard somepeople saying you cant mod the latest firmware i m not sure yet. if anyof you know abt it. your help will be appreciated :)
