I recently bought a 2007 jeep from a dealership. I was only given one key. I asked...

...them for the other key and? They stated that it was the only key and if I wanted another key I would have to purchase one for around $200.00 from the dealership. When I told my father this he was furious. He said the dealer was obligated to give me two keys and that I demand one to be made at their expense. Please any answers will help. Are they obligated to give me another key?

hmm..the dealership is trying to screw you over...I bought a car in 2007 and I rec'd two keys...all dealerships are supposed to give you a spare set...you should talk to the manager or threaten to give the car back and go elsewhere if they are going to give you the run around

Not with a used auto. But you can have one made at almost any store for very little.
