I really want to clean my dodge neon headlights?

My headlights are so foggy...what are some home remedies i can use to clean them...I don't have no 50 dollars to spend on headlights to clean them...
Do you think something like windex or rain-x would work?
anyone has similar problems?
Please help!!!
