If you go to the doctor, they'll give you an anema. Not fun. Or they'll have you go to the pharmacy and buy this nasty carbinated laxitive that takes up to 10 hours to work. Not fun either. I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and I go from being stoped up to always running to the bathroom. I find that when I'm stoped up, Phillips milk of magnesia works wonders. I have the chews and the liquid. It doesn't taste very good, but it's really mild and won't make you cramp up like ex-lax or some of the other pills you could take. I say just take a couple of swigs and swollow really quickly, go to bed, and see what happens in the morning. You can take some more if it doesn't work with the first dose. If it STILL doesn't work, then I'd go to something stronger. Good luck. I know how shitty not being able to shit feels.
