losing weight the healthy way? I'm just coming off from an extreme crash diet due to lack of appetite and just general anxiety about my body (literally scared to eat). For over a year now, I would eat between 300- 800 calories per day Monday through Friday and about 1,000 on weekends. I wasn't taking vitamins or supplements, and what I was eating wasn't balanced. For some reason it only occurred to me yesterday what I was doing to my body and that I need to stop immediately.

I am 16 years old, 5 foot 3, and 120 lbs. I want to try to get my eating in check because most of the time I was only eating one meal late in the day and I'm sure that has absolutely murdered my metabolism. After I've got regular meals down, I'd like to try to lose weight the healthy way (at least 1,200 calories, balanced, exercise, etc) and get down to a toned 110 lbs. One problem is that I have to eat lunch at school, and I have anxiety about eating in front of others but I'm going to try to get over that.

Any tips or things that I should expect as my body and metabolism gets back on track? (ie. weight gain, etc.) Thank you very much! :)
