i really like this guy in my class but he acts kinda weird near his friends?

well i like this guy in my class and when we are alone its so perfect and he seems so into me and caring n stuff like that , but when we are at school he wont come up to me and randomly hug me or kiss me , he sits next to me in class and flirts with me , and the other night we went drinking together and there were some girls there that were popular and as soon as they said we looked cute together he was ok with being around me and he was all over me , its like he needs to know if he has others approval ,im just new at this school and just started hanging out in the popular group,does anyone know why he is being like this? its like he is all fine with coming to my house and being intimate with me but cant even come up to me at lunch n give me a kiss
 
Maybe he doesnt like doing PDA at school? Or he's not that into you?

My fiance showed his love to me around anyone and didn't care what others think.
 
some people don't like PDA
personally i find it cheesy and adolescent. keep what you do in your bedroom should stay there.
 
If hes gonna act all embarrassed to be with you then you need someone new.that's disrespect and no one deserves that.

AND WELL HE THINKS HE NEEDS APPROVAL FROM HIS FRIEND TO SEE IF YOUR GONNA BE APPROVED FOR THEM GET IT??
IT'S HARD TO EXPLAIN BUT HE JUST WANTS TO BE ABLE TO BE WITH U WITHOUT ANYONE DOING SOMETHING WRONG
 
yes for some reason guys can act like this for sure. eventually they do grow out of it. why not confront him about it.
