I really cant remember but does the battery indicator light flash or light up when

the computer is plugged in? I've been using my laptop all day but the battery is still saying "6% plugged in, not charging". What could be the problem? There's electricity going to the system but the battery just isn't charging. Please help!
 
turn the pc off take the battery out, then put it back in, if it not charging
get a new battery.
