I ran my honda civic low on oil and started clicking?

..it started making a clicking or ticking noise and i drove for less than a mile and turned it off. I had it towed back to my house and added oil to bring it back up to the right level. The clicking went away but starts when I rev the engine. Do I have to adjust the valves ? or what could be the problem.
So do I just let it sit and not start it for a few days? Or can I start it and let it idle to build up hydraulic pressure? Thanks a lot.

don't rev the engine for a few days, you may have hydraulic lifters, give them a chance to pump back up, if it still does it you prob have a bad oil pump

When you do that to an engine, you have metal against metal with no lubrication and it can lead to bearings, camshaft, or crank surface being gauded together. I would imagine the cam bearings have been "wiped" a little and it reducing the flow of oil and thus restricting the lubrication. My brother had a Honda and the camshaft broke in half while he was coming home one night. He has never been one to check oil levels and he pays the price when it comes to repairs.

You have 2 options, ride and see what happens, or take it to a mechanic and have them check it.
