I put some tunes on the king!!!!

Yes the amp is in the left side. Ill wash her up real nice on my days off and ill post some good picks of the tweeters and amp mount. Thanks man.

Ive been trying to post a youtube vid. but no im not real handy with a cam. Ill have to ask the wife to help me out. Do you post a vid on here the same as a picture? Yes the bass from the 6x9s is real good!!! since the picture ive made a set of mdf spacers so its sealed real nice!

The one thing didnt want while I was doing this build was that I didnt want to take away from the look of the bike!!!! Those MH pods were perfect but not the way they had them mounted to I ordered the 1 1/4 mount and put them on the crash bar. the sound that came from them was ok but i really couldnt put much power to them being that they can only handle 35watts. So they went in the trash and a new set of memphis went in!! The clarity of the music that the memphis M-class produce with enough power is breath taking!!! When I crank up Santana's "Spanish Guitar" or Los lonely Boys "Heaven" the sound that comes out sends chills down my back!!! And the amount of bass that comes from the M-class 6x9s in the bags makes you think that I have a small woofer in there!!! The tweeters really put icing in the cake those!!! You really have to experience the sound in person to give the system any justice! I did go through 3 amps before I found one that produced the sound that I wanted! The 350.4 kicker is perfect! Kicker could have put an internal fan but I picked up a fan at Best Buy for ( bucks that does the trick. Im sure theres a way of making a good detachable set up for the 6x9s. You could just run the 4" up front but you wont get the sound that the 6x9s have to offer. Which is ALOT!!! Good luck on your build!! Me and my buddy have done 3 bikes already since mine so if you need any help let me know. Also I was expecting to have some engine noise but to my suprise there wasnt. so just be sure to use a good sheilded RCA to headphone jack adapter!

Thanks for offering help. I'll figure out a manner to get away with a deattachable solution that greets my eye. I think that the reason for no engine noise is the low output (watts) of the iPod (unlike most OEM HU), also the quality of the amp plays it role. Very happy to hear that you can actually get away with that, many motorcycle tunes I've heard have that annoying background engine noise.

Thanks for sharing, you reminded me of that pending project for my ride.

Mimo.

Nice job on the install. When I first bought my SG in 08 I never thought I'd use the stereo. I love it now and never ride without it.

Don't know you taste in music, but could I recommend the Eric Clapton and BB King song "Riding with the King" at full volume?
