I put a game CD in my computer, and it doesn't do anything...?

It's only this CD, and it's never been installed to this computer. Whenever I put it in nothing comes up. What should I do?
the game is the Sims 2.
I did what 'Brad' told me to do, and even when I go to my computer folder it says that there is no CD-RW Drive inserted. So when I right click there is no option 'run'.

Go to my compueter then right click your cd drive and click run

what system are you running, vista, xp, leapord, this is all important, if your running windows xp or vista or 2000, 98, 95, or ME go to computer, right click on your disk drive, click view files or explore, and then click the autorun thing which should be a text document, read what it says to autorun, exit out of textpad, and then click wat it said to autorun. hope this helps!
