So i was out with my wife at a bar and it was getting pretty late around 12.30 am and I do not drink very much but my wife was a little drunk. Anyway so there was this guy that we were both talking to (my wife and i) and suddenly this guy behind called my wife the c word, a bitch and a whore, so i punched the guy once, i think in the mouth and he went down then i hit him two more times in the mouth very hard and he was out cold. i know that i can go to jail if they catch me but it was probably my 2nd or 3rd time at the bar and no one really knows us that well. its within walking distance to my house. so my question is, is there any way they can catch me or something?
I punched a person, can I go to jail?
