I pulled a branch out of a lake and there was this pod like sack attached,

what animal or fish? It is brown with spots and somewhat see-through. I found another on a dock tire and two more on another branch. They are located in shallow water about 3 inches below the surface. They are close to the size of my hand.

My dad said they are fish eggs. I am not so sure though because some fish lay their eggs along the shore. What if you contacted your local Game and Fish Department? Different states, lakes, ponds and rivers etc. would have different types of fish, if they are indeed fish eggs. It is possible that the pod is part of the plant itself.

I'm pretty sure those are frog eggs. I would definatly not move any more of them.
