I Prefer Musicians Who Are Drug Addicts

Prolly Pete Doherty atm. I mean, he's a wreck, but he's a great artist. And lets face it, some of the best songs in history where written by pple who where on drugs. If you've ever been on a trip, you'll know how it gives you... ideas (not encouraging anyone to do drugs here, just an opinion!)

Of course not, and if you're part of the 0.1% who does then it's your problem, have a nice life while you can.

Back on topic, just because someone is a drug addict doesn't mean they can write about pain better than their non-druggo counterparts, its not that hard to make it up.

But a band like Between the Buried and Me makes a good case for healthy living, even if half of them do drink.

I think drugs work for some people and not for others. Some are able to use them to unleash their emotions and stuff in their music. But others just have their mind clouded. I do think that they can be a fantastic tool though.
