i predict that all of the next gen consoles will do well

360 is already doing well and will continue to do so with it's large game selection.
The Wii is a blast, I've enjoyed Madden more on it than any other system, I find FPS games much easier on it than the other systems, the fun it brings to group gaming is unmatched by the other systems this time around and will keep this system going strong.
The PS3 is going to have a good start I feel it's going to be 2nd to whatever other system is in the house for awhile to come with the exception of showing off it's abilites to people visiting, once more games start coming out and they start making more use of the abilities of the system I feel it will start to do better.

i don't own any ps2 games. i had a ps2 for a while, and even modded it to play burned games. then i got an xbox when it came out. 6 months later i traded my ps2 to a friend for an unlocked cable tv box so i would get free movies, free pay-per-view, etc, because i had stopped playing my ps2 almost completely. right now the only console i have is a 360, though in the past i've gone through almost every other console that was made (except for the gamecube).
and i stopped buying games 2 years ago (i use gamefly) because i play them till i beat them (a few days to a few weeks) and then i pretty much don't play them ever again. so right now the only game that i own is project gotham 3, but only because i got it for 5 bucks shipped from gamefly after using coupons they had given me. (i haven't played it since the week i got it, after i got gold medals in everything and platinum in some.)
i haven't played a wii yet, and although i think i'll get sick of it after a few hours i try not to hate on it at all until i play it. i haven't played a ps3 yet either and the only thing i've hated on about that is how stupid i think it is to buy one now, before they do updates and have a decent library of games out (i didn't get a 360 until september). i'll probably get one next fall, when the library of exclusives makes it worth it.

I'm in the same boat. I'm waiting on a die shrink for the XBox360. I've had to scoop up (buy) a dozen or so PS2 games (mostly action RPGs) because I felt that they may dry up due to so many PS2s being sold this past Christmas. I'm looking forward to Tomb Raider Anniversary, God of War II and Rogue Galaxy for the PS2, Blue Dragon for the XB360 and Dragon Quest 9 for the PS3. I'll probably make my decision then. The Wii is going to have a remake of Prince of Persia, The Two Kingdoms, but what I'm looking for is Prince of Persia, Warrior Within for the GC - just because the idea of beheading people appeals. I'm playing both versions of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
