i plugged everything in right, but the tower wont turn on and just flashes orange....

...How do i fix this? I'm using a Dell Dimension 3100- regular CPU(not a laptop), and like i said the light just keeps flashing orange. i've tried trouble-shooting techniques, looked online, but i can't seem to figure it out. any help here would be great.
 
if u recently upgraded memory and or added memory and it is not the right kind, it might do this.also, if your video card is loose in the socket this can happen. try taking out and reseating video card and or changing to right memory stick or putting old stick back in.
 
The problem here is Dell. They are a terrible, low quality company. Every problem I've seen regarding hardware for the past 2 days has almost 80% of the time involved a Dell brand. Call up that terrible customer support and see if you can get a new one.

Next time you go with a 'mainstream' brand, I'd recommend HP, Dell's quality has been decreasing steadily for years.
