I planted cabbage in my garden but animals ate the leaves, leaving just the green

stalk, should I replace it? Or will it still grow into a cabbage head without the leaves?
 
Regardless of what happens, have you surrounded the garden with chicken wire yet?
 
You may have to replace them, however, this time be sure to keep Moth Balls placed throughout your garden that will help keep most animals away. Good Luck!
 
I would replace them, agree with the chicken wire.

But is it definately animals? - slugs and snails can do serious damage, as can caterpillars, so invest in some slug pellets and something for the caterpillars to make sure.
