The following process can also be done on iphone 3gs 3.1.3 when different sim card is detected. If you have shsh blobs saved on Saurik - Cydia. One can again reflash the iphone 3gs 3.1.3 with boot loader 6.4. I have followed the process of downgrading.

i personaly repair 8 3Gs at 3.1.3..
it works like charm..

i WISH i knew of this before i decided to restore to 3.1.3 in order to try and re-apply ultrasn0w.

now i am stuck at the activation screen (emergency call screen) even though i have my locked phones official carrier sim.. And I cant jailbreak cause spirit doesnt work on an unactivated phone. nor can i throw a hacktivated ipsw as i am on boot loader 6.4.

It happened because I tried and activate in another country... uqbah, what would you reccomend? run a proxy?
