I passed my test a while ago and i havent driven yet?

Ok i passed my driving test in january and i still havent driven on my own or bought a car. I am worried that i should have done this by now as it is nearly the end of june, what do you think, i mean i am not sure that i want a car right now but i worry that when i get older i will regret not getting a car when i was younger, or even just driving on my own (which i cannot do as the parents car has very high insurance) so i dont know whether i should be worrying about this
 
Not sure of the state in which you live but if your state is like mine then you should be able to renew your permit. I know a guy who has had his permit for years but never took the driving part. He just keeps renewing the permit.
